Delete your Cove Space account

You can permanently delete your account and its associated Cove Space data inside the app, or request deletion by email if you cannot access the app.

Delete your account inside Cove Space

  1. Sign in with the Cove Space account you want to delete.
  2. From the main page, open the three-dot account menu.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Reauthenticate using the same Google or Apple account when requested.
  5. Review the confirmation message and confirm permanent deletion.

This is the fastest deletion method and verifies ownership directly through your sign-in provider.

Cannot access the app?

Email us from the address linked to your Cove Space account. Use the subject Cove Space Account Deletion Request and include the sign-in email address you want deleted.

Never send your password, PIN, encryption key, or private files. We may request an additional safe verification step before completing the deletion.

What deletion covers

After account ownership is verified, Cove Space will delete or attempt to delete:

  • The Cove Space authentication account and account identifier
  • Encrypted Cove Space files and folder information associated with that account on the current device
  • Temporary decrypted files created by Cove Space
  • The device-specific PIN verifier and encryption key material
  • Local tutorial and account preferences

Email requests will normally be completed within 30 days after ownership is verified.

Information outside Cove Space

Deleting your Cove Space account does not delete your Google or Apple account. Files you previously shared, exported, copied, saved to your photo library, or backed up through another application must be removed separately from those locations.

Information may be retained only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, and only for the required period. Retained information will not be used for unrelated purposes.
